The problem is not solved if you tick it off your list.
The problem is not solved if you get it off your desk.
The problem is not solved even if you eliminate every symptom.
The problem is only solved when the problem is solved.
And it is still your responsibility -- despite emails, voicemails, promises and list-ticking -- until it is done.

That's the smartest thing I have read for a while. I call that 'being responsible' and acting with 'clarity of mind and strong determination'.
Good to know that there are still some reasonable people in this world...
Last time I flew Air Canada, they lost my bags, took three days to find and return them, and offered neither apology nor compensation.
The last time I flew Westjet from Vancouver to Calgary, our flight was delayed by one hour because of weather. A month later, I got a $100 credit for future flights in the mail along with an apology.
Now I wonder who I'll fly to Palm Springs with...
